It’s been 12 years since Prem Sukh started working with the foundation, and every day at work is proof of his beliefs

That day was a revelation to me, like a calling”, says Prem Sukh Saran.
Prem Sukh Saran started his career as a wool contractor in Bikaner, but it didn’t interest him. He always believed in meaningful work and a dull, monotonous job like that was not something that he looked forward to. It was during this time that Navratan Saraf, a branch manager from Jaipur Rugs Foundation approached him. He shared with him the purpose of the foundation and how the many middlemen in the carpet industry is making artisans suffer. “That day was a revelation to me, like a calling”, he says. For the first time in his life, he had found a direction he wanted to explore. He willingly joined the organization without giving it a second thought. Somewhere, that dull and monotonous job as a wool contractor gave him the knowledge and work experience to redirect himself and change lives.
It’s been 12 years since Prem Sukh started working with the foundation, and every day at work is proof of his beliefs. He has dedicated his life to the organization, working day in and day out in service of the marginalized communities. Every day motivates him to move ahead in life and continue to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm.
“Meeting Bhaisahab (founder – NK Chaudhary) has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. One can never imagine a man can be so great yet so humble, at the same time. When I met him, I knew I was on the right path”, he says.

"I believe that if we can provide dignity, respect, and opportunity to our artisans, they will create magic. Our foundation is not just about preserving tradition it's about empowering people to write their own success stories."
